One thing I absolutely loved about the DBBP is that we are a group and I have been so inspired and motivated, as well as relieved, to hear everyone's journey throughout this. I also love that Jess allows us to email her at any time during the program. I always felt supported, and challenged in the best possible way to find my truest, healthiest and therefore happiest self in my relationship with food and my body.

I have never experienced this much positive change in a relationship (with food) in this amount of time. I always thought that I was just going to struggle with food and my body forever and be unhappy until I was skinny. Through this program, I have been able to shift my mindset to a more positive one and therefore have created new, healthy and positive behaviors/actions that are leading me closer and closer to my goals and most importantly making me a happier, more whole person.

I am here to say it is 100% possible to find peace with food, body and enjoy dancing again. Most importantly, I am enjoying more life again.

After gaining more information about food, I have a better understanding of what foods work for my body. I've noticed just a general sense of feeling better when I fuel my body with nutrient-dense, nourishing foods. More importantly, though, I pinpointed the root of my body image issues. I wouldn't say that it's been magically solved and I feel great about my body everyday, but I do think that I'm on the path to self acceptance.

I just returned to the studio. I was having some anxiety about the judgement and shame I'd put on how my body looked, but I was surprised to learn that the first day I looked in the mirror and felt great. For the first time in ages I didn't look around the room and say to myself "you're the fattest person here", which is HUGE for me. I'm sure I'll still have hard days moving forward, but I feel like I now have some tools to work towards permanent self acceptance.

I would absolutely recommend this course. If you're struggling with how to fuel your body, how you see yourself, negative self talk, relationship with food, cross training, or comparison to others, then this is the course for you. You'll learn valuable information that will help you gain a better relationship with food and with yourself. You'll also connect with people through the group coaching calls in a really positive way.
