This webinar took place live in November of 2015 but the audio component is available on demand as part of The Whole Dancer’s first audio training series.
It’s officially November and for most of you that means you’re already enveloped by the craziness of Nutcracker season! Personally, this was always one of my favorite times of the year but definitely one of the most exhausting.
Dancers tend to be so busy during Nutcracker season that certain basic self – care practices fall to the wayside. This is true in general…when we are at our busiest, we slack off on the things that help keep us grounded and healthy.
The madness leads to poor food choices, too much sugar and caffeine, not enough down – time or relaxation and worst case scenario: injury. Don’t let Nutcracker Season get you down!
I’m so thrilled to be teaming up with Boston Ballet dancer Shelby Elsbree again to present some information and tips on staying healthy and maintaining your peak performance this Nutcracker season.
This is a no – cost webinar geared towards serious ballet students through professional dancers.
During this webinar Shelby and I will cover:
- Eating to fuel an energetic performance.
- Finding your balance during the craziness of the season.
- Specific self – care techniques you can start practicing today!
- Tips on cold – care and prevention to help you stay well or recover more quickly.
